Dr. Thomas Pham, DDS
Dr. Pham graduated from the prestigious Marquette University with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and stayed at his alma mater to obtain his doctorate degree in dentistry. After completion of his residency at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN, Dr. Pham moved to Arizona for the warm weather.
After spending 4 years working in corporate dentistry, he realized that a private dental practice was the best way for him to take care of his patients. Customer service and the pursuit of clinical excellence is what he strives for. He welcomes you to come and experience the personalized care in dentistry that he offers.
Dr. Joshua D. France, DMD
Dr. Joshua D. France has had a unique path leading into dentistry over the years. From a very young age, he has been around the field of healthcare, watching his mother practice as a veterinarian and perform various surgeries. He graduated high school from Brophy College Preparatory with initial plans to enter into aerospace engineering, not realizing that his passion and draw would later lead him into dentistry. During this time, he was racing competitively in the sport of triathlon, with eventual plans to race professionally. It was not until he had exposure to two close friends who had undergone jaw surgeries due to trauma,
that he truly became interested in the field of dentistry and oral medicine. Not soon after, he changed his course of study and university to begin preparing for the path to enter into dental school and pursue a career in dentistry. He later graduated from Grand Canyon University summa cum laude, “With Highest Honors.”
Dr. France became very invested in his dream of becoming a dentist, eventually having the benefit of working in a dental laboratory for a few years. This allowed him to fortify his passion, and gain a firsthand knowledge of how to fabricate crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, and other prostheses. He was later
accepted to Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine, where he completed his course of study and graduated with honors in the top 3% of his class, earning the degree of Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry (D.M.D). Dr. France’s work ethic can be largely attributed to his competitive triathlon career, through the long hours, consistency, and dedication that is required. He will tell you that perhaps it is both the sport of triathlon, and the passion for dentistry, that led to his connection with Dr. Pham, and his practice. The summer before he began dental school, he had the pleasure of meeting one of Dr. Pham’s hygienists at the time, Kelly Geruso. These two connected at an Ironman triathlon race, where Kelly learned of his plans to attend dental school and desire for a mentor in dentistry. Kelly introduced Dr. Pham and Dr. France, and they have had the privilege of developing a wonderful personal and professional relationship.
Dr. France is a native to Arizona, with family right here in the west valley. As mentioned, his mother is a veterinarian and his father was a local police officer for the City of Glendale for over 30 years. He and his wife, Taylor, were recently married in March 2020 at the Brophy Chapel. Both Dr. Pham and Kelly had the privilege of attending their wedding and the two of them have been a part of many of our office celebrations and events over the years. In his free time, Dr. France still enjoys triathlons, spending time with his wife and two dogs, traveling, and days out on the lake.
